Tears flowed as a fresh Kogi University graduate identified as Benson Ikani,
reportedly died in a fatal accident which occurred in the state. Benson, a fresh
graduate of Fisheries and Aquaculture, reportedly died on the spot after he was
knocked down by a vehicle today. It was gathered that the deceased was waiting
for his mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), before the
tragic incident occurred.
Friends of the late graduate have already taken to social media to pen down
tributes to him. Joseph Tina Ejuchegahi wrote on facebook; #Black Friday,
Painful exit. Benson Ikani this is not part of our agreement oh,why did u have
to go now? We where together on Wednesday n u promised me yesterday to see me
tomorrow. May God forgive ur shortcomings n welcome u to Paradise. Eternal Rest
grant unto him O lord. Rest in peace This pain is too much for me ooooo”.
