A Nigeria National simply identified as Ikenna has been arrested in India for
being in possession of substance suspected to be crystal meth. According to a
statement by the India Police Department, he is said to be living in the country
with an expired visa.
The Police said he ventured into drug sales after his footballing career in
the country suffered a setback.
The Nigerian footballer was said to have been arrested in a midnight raid by
the police while he was going to a party to sell his consignments. Further
search in his apartment showed that he has more drugs which include 10g of
cocaine at home.
